1. Who we are
This website, www.sedsga.net, is operated by SEDSGA, LLC (“SEDSGA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a limited liability company based in Georgia, United States. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit the website or contact us through the email address it lists.
This policy applies only to this website. Information handled as part of client engagements is governed by the agreements for those engagements.
2. Information we collect
Information you send us
This website has no contact forms, account registration, comment features, or newsletter sign-ups. If you choose to email us at wes@sedsga.net, we receive your email address, your name as it appears in your email, the content of your message and any attachments, and standard email metadata such as the date and time it was sent.
Technical information processed by our hosting provider
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and delivered through Cloudflare’s network. When you visit, Cloudflare processes information needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This information can include your IP address, browser and device information (user agent), the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time of each request.
Cloudflare may use this information for security purposes, such as identifying and blocking malicious traffic. We may review aggregate traffic and security statistics that Cloudflare makes available to us. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors. Cloudflare’s handling of this data is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used and how well it performs. When a page loads, a small script provided by Cloudflare (loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com) collects page view and performance information. This includes the page visited, the referring website, your browser, operating system, and device type, your approximate country, and page load timing measurements.
This information is processed by Cloudflare and made available to us only as aggregate statistics. We do not use it to identify individual visitors. According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to collect these metrics and does not fingerprint visitors using their IP address, user agent, or other data.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use local storage, tracking pixels, or browser fingerprinting. As described above, Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics service does not rely on cookies or local storage.
When its security features are active, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated or malicious traffic. These cookies are used for security and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
4. Third-party content and links
The fonts, images, and scripts on this website are served from our own domain, with one exception: the Cloudflare Web Analytics script described in Section 2. The site does not embed third-party videos, maps, social media widgets, or advertising.
Some pages link to external websites, such as those of NIST, the FFIEC, the FDIC, CISA, and Cloudflare. Once you leave this website, the privacy practices of the site you visit apply.
5. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate about potential engagements
- Maintain business records
- Operate, maintain, and secure the website
- Understand aggregate website usage and performance so we can improve the site
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights
6. How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We may share information only:
- With service providers that support our operations, such as our website hosting, analytics, and email providers, which process information under their own terms and privacy policies
- When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process
- When necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of SEDSGA, our clients, or others
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business
7. Data retention
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations, and then delete it. Technical request data and analytics data processed by Cloudflare are retained according to Cloudflare’s own policies.
8. Security
This website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we receive. Standard email is not a fully secure channel, however. Please do not send passwords, customer information, examination reports, or other sensitive data in an unsolicited email. If sensitive information needs to be exchanged, we will arrange an appropriate secure method.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete correspondence you have sent us by emailing wes@sedsga.net. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, and we will honor requests as those laws require.
This website does not track visitors for advertising or across other websites, and we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Analytics are collected only in aggregate, as described in Section 2. If you prefer, you can prevent the analytics script from loading with a browser extension or content blocker, and the website will continue to work normally.
10. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
